He personally knows the pains of manual penetration testing.  When he was a Security Architect he had to do these on a daily basis.  He spent two hours per server just on the pentests not including compiling the reports.  He isn’t the type of person to let a good opportunity pass by and set out to automate the whole process including generation of the report.  He can now perform thousands of pen tests at the same time.
